Who We Are

We are a team of researchers, writers, and advocates who are passionate about raising awareness of the issues surrounding cults and helping survivors on their journey to healing and reclaiming their lives. Our contributors include experts in psychology, sociology, and cult studies, as well as individuals with personal experience in cult recovery.

Our Mission

At The Deprogrammer Project, our mission is threefold:

  1. Raise Awareness: We aim to educate the public about the tactics and methods used by cults and high-control groups to recruit and manipulate individuals. By shining a light on these practices, we hope to prevent others from falling victim to them.
  2. Support Survivors: We offer a safe and supportive space for survivors of cults to share their stories, connect with others who have had similar experiences, and access resources to aid in their recovery journey.
  3. Promote Healing: Recovery from cult involvement can be a challenging process. We provide information, guidance, and resources to help survivors heal, regain their sense of self, and rebuild their lives.
